A recent Pew Research survey shows that half of American adults are more worried than excited about the increasing use of AI. Many network infrastructure owners share these worries, concerned about how AI-driven automation might affect network reliability. Because the network is crucial to operations, concerns about whether AI can deliver the necessary speed and accuracy in sectors like fintech, manufacturing, or healthcare often keep them awake at night.
Concerns are growing, and rightly so. Many organizations have established processes and audits, leveraging technology to support them. Introducing AIOps to “solve problems” without transparency creates uncertainty. NetOps teams worry about disruptions to business continuity and possible compliance issues. It’s not surprising that the shift is happening from “We want solutions that use AI” to “Can we turn AI off?”
