BackBox Names Rekha Shenoy as Chief Executive Officer

DALLAS, TX – May 6, 2024BackBox today announced that Rekha Shenoy has been named CEO and board director. As CEO, Shenoy will lead the next phase of BackBox’s evolution, focused on product development and growing market share in security-centric automation for network teams. 

With over 25 years in the B2B technology space, Rekha has held C-level product and go-to-market leadership roles. She managed the Industrial Cyber Security business unit at Belden, Inc., and has orchestrated buy and sell-side acquisitions at several organizations, including Tripwire and BMC Software. Before joining BackBox, Rekha was the Chief Product Officer at Syndio, Chief Product & Customer Officer at Zapproved, and Chief Revenue Officer at Spirion.  

Rekha succeeds Andrew Kahl who led BackBox since the acquisition by Elsewhere Partners in August 2021, established its headquarters in Dallas, TX and scaled its North American presence.
